Reporting Benefits Fraud
If you suspect anyone of committing benefit fraud, we would like to hear from you.
Some typical examples of benefit fraud include:
- Claiming as a single person when you have a partner living with you
- Claiming from an address you aren’t living at
- Not letting us know that you are working
- Not telling us the full amount of your income, savings or capital
- Claiming to live in privately rented accommodation as a tenant with a tenancy agreement when no such arrangement exists
It is important that you tell us as much information as possible. All reports will be in confidence.
You can report it to The Department for Work and Pensions Fraud and Error Service.
